Limited is today one of the leading exporters
of Black Tea, Green Tea and Herbal Teas in Bulk,
Packets and Tea Bags to the international market.
Presently a large percentage of tea exports are to
the CIS Countries, the United Arab Emirates, Iran,
Syria, Philippines, Taiwan, Macedonia, West Africa
and Japan. We are not only marketing Tea under our
own brand name “Steuarts” but also packing for leading
importers the world over under their own brand names.
We handle a wide range of value added products (packets
and bags) amounting to over one hundred different items.

of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and George Steuart
(Teas & Marketing) (Private) Limited is a member of the
Colombo Tea Traders’ Association and also the Tea Exporters
